MAMAS Postpartum Support Group

It all started when…

local Spokane Midwife and Birth Doula, Tamy Roloff, decided in 2002 that she needed a safe place for her clients and past clients to gather for support, connection, and fun. Clients were requesting it (Thank you forever, Teresa and Miranda)!

We took a break, and in 2023 we began meeting again. To better meet the needs of the mothering individuals in the community and to be able to reach out to women throughout the U.S., and the world, MAMAS moved to a virtual format In 2024. Meetings are every Friday from 1-2pm Pacific Standard Time on Zoom and led by Tamy in a group coaching format. You are whole, complete, resourceful, and creative, so in true coaching style we discuss the topics that are on your mind and that are important to women and individuals mothering. Tamy is there to ask the questions that remind you that you know the answers for your own life and that your story may remind someone else that they know the answers for their own life too. These are a some of the topics regularly brought up, though we are not limited to these: mothering, careers, parenting styles and theories, growing community, relationships, sex after babies, mothering adult children, schooling, food, the environment, teaching children about nature, finding support in an often distant world - where it can be hard to find “your people”. Everyone is invited to share their stories, vent frustrations, make new connections and ask for and receive others’ perspectives. We invite mothers of all ages and stages of life because we know we need one another and the wisdom and experience of all ages. We embrace diversity and inclusion and welcome all who would like to attend.

Come and check it out. Invite your friends. Go here and request a Zoom meeting link, DM on Instagram or Facebook, or text Tamy at 360-783-2558
