Pregnancy & Birth Support

Experienced, personalized support for pregnancy, birth preparation, labor, and the transition into parenthood.

Pregnancy and birth can be both deeply meaningful and deeply uncertain. Sometimes what a woman needs isn't more information, but someone experienced who can listen, help her sort through her options, answer the questions that arise, and remind her that she knows more than she thinks she does.

As a midwife and experienced birthworker, I bring decades of experience supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and the transition into parenthood. My approach is grounded in education, informed choice, trauma-informed care, and respect for each woman's individual experience.

Continuity of Support

Pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period are not separate experiences—they are a continuum. Yet maternity care often involves different providers, appointments, and sources of information and support along the way.

My role is to provide a familiar, consistent source of support throughout that journey. From pregnancy and birth preparation, through labor and birth, and into the early postpartum period, I remain the person who knows your story, your hopes, your questions, and what matters to you.

That continuity allows us to build a relationship before labor begins, so that when you reach birth and the early days with your baby, you're not starting over with someone new.

My Virtual Doula Support combines childbirth education, birth preparation, emotional support, and experienced guidance to help you approach birth with greater confidence and a clearer sense of what support you need.

This virtual doula support is designed for women who want experienced guidance and a calm, knowledgeable presence while remaining under the care of their chosen medical or birth-care provider.

Birth Preparation Intensive $375

For women who want focused support preparing for labor and birth, but don't need ongoing or on-call birth support.

This includes three 60-minute virtual sessions tailored to your questions, concerns, and goals. We can explore birth preferences, comfort measures, labor preparation, and communication with your care team, as well as help your partner understand the stages of labor and the many ways they can offer meaningful physical, emotional, and practical support.

No on-call birth support is included with this option.

Pregnancy & Birth Support $1,350

This package is designed around continuity of support not simply a set number of appointments. From pregnancy through birth and into the early postpartum period, you'll have an experienced, familiar person alongside you who understands your individual needs and can help you navigate each stage.

While your medical or birth-care team may change throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, my role is to remain a consistent source of support across the entire journey. My goal is for you to feel prepared, informed, supported, and less alone as you move into birth and the early days of parenthood.

What's Included

Getting Started — 75–90 minutes

We'll begin by getting to know one another and talking about your pregnancy, hopes, concerns, previous birth experiences, and the kind of support that would be most helpful to you.

Together we will:

  • Explore your hopes, concerns, and support needs

  • Discuss your care provider and planned birth setting

  • Begin developing your birth preferences

  • Identify areas where additional education or preparation may be helpful

Three Prenatal Sessions - 60 minutes each

Our prenatal sessions will be guided by your individual needs and may include:

Preparing for Birth
What to expect, informed decision-making, birth preferences, and communicating with your care team.

Preparing for Labor

You don't have to know how to be a birth partner before you become one.

We'll explore comfort measures, positioning, coping strategies, and ways to create a supportive environment for labor. We'll also talk about your partner's role and guide them in practical, meaningful ways they can support you throughout labor—physically, emotionally, and practically.

Preparing for Parenthood
Postpartum expectations, feeding, rest, support systems, emotional adjustment, and the transition into life with a new baby.

Between-Session Support

Text and email support are available between sessions for questions, resources, and brief check-ins. More involved questions or conversations will be reserved for scheduled sessions so that you receive the time and attention they deserve

Comfort measures, positioning, coping strategies, and ways to create a supportive environment for labor. We'll also explore your partner's role and guide them in practical, meaningful ways they can support you throughout labor.

Virtual Birth Support

Beginning at 38 weeks, I will be on-call for your birth and available virtually when labor begins.

During labor, I can provide support by phone or video, offering:

  • Emotional support and encouragement

  • Comfort suggestions and positioning ideas

  • Education and information as questions arise

  • Support in thinking through options and communicating with your care team

  • A calm, experienced presence throughout labor and birth

Virtual support is intended to complement and not replace the care provided by your physician, midwife, or other birth-care provider.

Early Postpartum Support

Within the first 24 hours after birth, we'll touch base to see how you and your baby are doing and to answer any breastfeeding, newborn, or immediate postpartum questions you may have. This can be by text, phone, or virtual meeting, depending on what feels most useful at the time.

Within the first couple of weeks after birth, we'll schedule a longer postpartum session to:

  • Process your birth experience

  • Talk through the transition home

  • Discuss feeding, rest, emotions, and support

  • Reflect on what went well and what was difficult

  • Identify additional resources or support if needed

A Note About My Role

My role is to provide education, emotional and informational support, preparation, and continuity throughout your pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum experience.

Virtual doula support does not replace medical care, clinical assessment, or the guidance of your physician, midwife, or other healthcare provider. I do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment through these sessions.

A Place to Start

Not sure what kind of support would be most helpful to you? Let's talk.

A Place to Start is a complimentary 15-minute conversation where we can talk about where you are in your pregnancy, what you're looking for, and whether Pregnancy & Birth Support feels like a good fit for you.

There's no obligation to book a package. Sometimes a short conversation is all you need to clarify what kind of support would feel most helpful.
